Operation El Cap is a bold and inspiring project that will see groups of wounded, injured, and sick UK veterans take on one of the toughest challenges in the world – climbing the legendary El Capitan Freerider Route in Yosemite National Park, USA.

This isn’t just about reaching the summit. It’s about proving that recovery, resilience, and determination can overcome even the steepest obstacles. Through a year of dedicated training, teamwork, and preparation, our veterans will push their limits while raising awareness and vital funds for veteran-focused charities.

Alongside the climb, the project aims to inspire others facing their own struggles, showing that no barrier is too great when faced together. With the support of sponsors, equipment partners, and the wider community, Operation El Cap will shine a light on the strength and potential of our veteran community.
